Srinivasa Murti G.

(1887- ). A medical practitioner who served as Deputy President of The Theosophical Society (TS) in 1934 and 1936 as well as Recording Secretary in 1934. He was born at Gorur, Mysore, India. He joined the TS on April 1, 1915, and was for many years honorary physician to Annie BESANT. He married Srimati Sringarammal in 1902. He was secretary to the Madras Government Committee on Indigenous Medicine and at the request of the Madras Government drew up the first curricula for the School of Indian Medicine. Srinivasa was first Principal of the School of Indian Medicine from January 6, 1925, and was the first President of Central Board of Indian Medicine.
